VOTING 

Greetings FHM community! It’s time to vote for the newest members of the FHM Board of Directors (BoD). As a Jefferson County Public Option School of Innovation FHM is led by a BoD that is annually elected by the FHM Community. Once elected, BoD members serve three-year terms.


All members of the FHM Community are encouraged to vote for our BoD. Community members include:

* Legal guardians of FHM students. Any legal guardian irrelevant of amount time spent with child(ren) or primary residence of child(ren) may submit a vote.

* FHM staff. All FHM staff get one vote and if a staff member is also a legal guardian, (s)he only votes once.


This year, we have two candidates and two positions to be filled by Community vote. Below are the bios of the two candidates:



Ben Dodson

Ben Dodson has been part of the FHM family for the last two years with a daughter in PK4. He has 15 years of professional experience and is currently a Talent Acquisition Manager in the Aerospace industry. Ben is actively involved in his companies Social Justice Committee and has volunteered with United Way, Habitat for Humanity and Denver Rescue Mission. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Human Resources and Society. Ben aspires to be part of the FHM BOD to get more involved with the school and community, set a good example, gain leadership experience from the current members, while lending support to fill a vacant need.


Daniel Hofmann 

Daniel Hofmann has one child in primary at FHM and one prospective child enrolled for Fall 2021. Daniel is a small business owner with a background in accounting and higher education consulting. Daniel hopes to bring his unique background to the FHM school board in order to help solve issues facing FHM such as budget pressures and sustaining the high academic performance FHM parents value. Lastly, Daniel wants to ensure the school board preserves the amazing FHM culture that fosters accountability and independence, and provides a foundation for our kids to have a lifetime of success.



You may choose to vote electronically or by leaving a voicemail. The FHM Governance Committee facilitates the voting process and is committed to voter confidentiality. They will review ballots to ensure only one vote is made per eligible person.

All voting will close and results announced during the Annual State of the School Meeting on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at 6pm.
