Governance Committee

The Governance Committee

The Governance Committee is a standing committee of the Board of Directors. The purpose of the Governance Committee is to assume primary responsibility for matters pertaining to recommendations regarding Board recruitment, nominations, orientation, training, and evaluation in accordance with the Bylaws of the school as well as established Board policies. The committee is also responsible for developing and revisions to the Board handbook as needed. See the Board Policy Manual section 3.15.3.2 for complete information.

Governance Committee Meetings are held the last Friday of every month from 8:10 - 9:10 a.m. in the conference room.

Members

The Governance Committee is comprised of parent volunteers, including a Liaison from the Board of Directors, and a staff liaison. The Governance Committee meets monthly to complete work in service to the FHM Board of Directors.
